Nelson Custer

For nearly 30 years, Nelson Custer has worked in the financial industry in a range of roles, including more than 20 years in mortgage lending. As a Mortgage Loan Originator with First Federal Lakewood, Nelson has extensive experience working with all-types of buyers including  first-time and low-to-moderate income buyers.  Nelson is well versed in a variety of home loan programs including working with specialty home lending, down-payment assistance programs, and FHA loans. He assists customers in navigating the home buying process, helping them choose the best loan product to fit their individual needs. He also assists borrowers who aren’t quite ready to make a home purchase develop a plan of action to prepare for homeownership in the near future. Nelson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Cleveland State University.
